This is a two night retreat for a maximum of 8 people at the Uptown Blanco Retreat Center. It's a great time to sew with friends and shop at the Uptown Blanco Textile Studio. Registration opens 90 days prior to the event. As a courtesy to other members we ask that you not register for two consecutive small retreats so that all members may have a chance to attend a small retreat.
Bring your own simple meals or enjoy the many great restaurant choices in Blanco. The cost of this event is $150 and no meals are included in your retreat fee. Plan to bring simple meals or enjoy the restaurants on the courthouse square.
The Retreat House sleeps 8 and is located in the heart of downtown Blanco and just a block off the square on 3rd street. The historic house was renovated to provide a quaint and comfortable retreat facility for quilters. It is within walking distance to Uptown blanco Textile Studio, restaurants, restaurants and local shopping.
In the kitchen you’ll find dishes, glasses, silverware, basic cooking pans and utensils. Appliances include refrigerator (with ice maker), microwave, dishwasher, range with oven, coffee maker and toaster.
There are 4 bedrooms and each room has two beds, pillows, linens and quilts. Top of the line mattresses are provided to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep.
There are 2 full bathrooms with showers, one which is ADA compliant, and 1 half bath. Towels, bath, hand and wash cloths, are provided.
For relaxing when not being creative, there is a Gathering room with TV, couch, table and chairs. Other amenities include an available washer and dryer, WIFI, and a covered wrap-around porch. For more information about the facility go to
