New and beginning quilters are all welcome!
Bring a sack lunch, if desired. A microwave is in the room if you need it.
Boutique Zipper Bag Workshop
Teachers - Becky Moore-Kreitman and Cheryl Degan
Join us for a fun day of making zipper bags to sell in our 2026 Quiltfest Boutique! Quilted fabric, zippers, vinyl and instructions will be provided. Other supplies needed are listed below. Don't worry if you have never sewn on vinyl or put in a zipper, we will teach you how.
We will take a quick 30 minute lunch break at noon so you may prefer to bring a sack lunch and a drink.
The items we make in this class will all be donated to sell in our Quiltfest boutique. Thanks for helping us raise funds for our guild!
Class Fee Members: $10.00 (opens 1/6/26)
Skill level: Confident beginner, familiar with how to operate your sewing machine.
Please bring:
sewing machine
scissors
long ruler
rotary cutter
straight pins and plastic clips
seam ripper
black, white and light gray thread
zipper foot - optional
vinyl foot - optional
